Traffic interruption via unchecked SFF name collisions

Denial of service in OpenDaylight SFC Sodium-SR4 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt traffic forwarding via a crafted SFF name. The SFC-OVS and OpenFlow Renderer plugins accept an SFF name that collides with an existing OVSDB node, then replace its DPID and invalidate associated flow rules and rendered service paths. The affected plugins must be enabled and the crafted SFF creation request must reach RESTCONF; exploitation blocks forwarding through deployed service chains without reported confidentiality or integrity effects.
