Unauthenticated code execution via evaluated id parameter
Published Mar 27, 2025 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Code injection in FoxCMS 1.2.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the case display page in index.html. The /images/index.html endpoint evaluates the id query parameter as a PHP expression without neutralizing ${...} syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants control of the web server process.
