CVE-2025-29266Public exploit

Root WebGUI access via loopback-trusted Tailscale traffic

Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025

Authentication bypass in Lime Technology Unraid OS 7.0.0 allows remote attackers to access the WebGUI and web console as root through Tailscale. Host-mode container traffic injected by the Tailscale integration reaches nginx as localhost, so its loopback allowlist skips WebGUI authentication. The exposure requires a container configured with both Host networking and Use Tailscale; any user able to reach that Tailscale device gains full root WebGUI and terminal access.
