Authenticated service crash via oversized list parameter
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 21, 2025
A stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AX12 22.03.01.46_CN allows remote authenticated users to crash its web service via a crafted request. The sub_43fdcc handler for /goform/SetNetControlList accepts the list parameter without a length limit, allowing it to overrun fixed stack storage. Low-privileged access to the router management interface is required, and exploitation affects availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
