Authenticated database disclosure via unfiltered installer parameters
Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
Time-based blind SQL injection in FOXCMS 1.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to infer database data via crafted POST requests. The installdb.php installer concatenates the url_prefix, domain, and my_website POST values directly into SQL statements without filtering. Administrative privileges are required, and response delays provide an oracle for indirect disclosure of database values.
