CVE-2025-29149Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated service interruption via oversized ping1 input

Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 21, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda i12 firmware 1.0.0.10(3805) allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted ping1 value. The formSetAutoPing handler writes the attacker-controlled ping1 value past fixed-size stack storage because it does not enforce the destination length. No authentication or user interaction is required, and published impact data limits the established consequence to device service interruption rather than data access or modification.
