Unauthenticated code execution via unbounded security copy
Published Mar 24, 2025 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Stack-based overflow in Tenda AC7 firmware 15.03.06.44 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted Wi-Fi security value. formWifiBasicSet copies the unbounded security parameter into a fixed-size stack buffer with strcpy, overwriting adjacent stack data. The web request requires no authentication or user interaction, and successful exploitation grants code execution on the router.
