Memory corruption via unbounded static-route list
Published Mar 24, 2025 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC8 firmware 16.03.34.06 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted route list. The /bin/tdhttpd fromSetRouteStatic handler fails to bound the list parameter from /goform/SetStaticRouteCfg before it overwrites stack memory. The request requires no authentication or user interaction; exploitation corrupts the router service's stack and compromises its execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
