CVE-2025-29093Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via unrestricted image upload

Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Motivian Content Management System 41.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through its image gallery. The upload action accepts multipart content with an empty allowedExtensions value and stores a .php5 payload without validating its extension or content. The published request uses an authenticated administrator endpoint, session cookie, and anti-CSRF token, although CISA-ADP rates privileges as unnecessary; successful exploitation runs commands in the web server context.
