CVE-2025-2903

Operating-system takeover via enabled GCP OS Login

Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Privilege chaining in Perforce Delphix 14.0.0.0 through 2025.2.0.0 allows attackers to gain an operating-system shell via GCP OS Login. When OS Login remains enabled during GCP deployment, the GCP guest agent accepts an account created through that feature and permits SSH access to the appliance OS. The attacker must be able to create an OS Login account during deployment; successful access permits reading VM data, installing software, and disrupting the appliance.
