Stored script execution via unsanitized account-type names
Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Stored XSS in Code Astro Internet Banking System 2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through an account-type name. The pages_add_acc_type.php handler stores the name parameter without sanitization, and Manage Acc Types renders it so the browser executes the injected JavaScript. High-privileged access is required to submit the name, and another administrator or user must view the management page; browser-session data and actions in that user context are exposed.
