Stored XSS via unsanitized administrator input
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in arildur Read More Login 2.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages viewed by others. The plugin insufficiently sanitizes stored administrator input and fails to escape it when rendering an affected page; public sources do not identify the exact field or code locus. Exploitation requires administrator-level access, user interaction, and either WordPress multisite or disabled unfiltered_html, after which arbitrary browser scripts run in a page visitor's session.
