Credential disclosure via privileged Web UI script injection
Published Jun 1, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Cross-site scripting in IBM Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0 and 2.1 allows remote authenticated users to expose session credentials. IBM identifies the Web UI as the affected locus but does not disclose which field or handler accepts and renders embedded JavaScript without neutralization. High-privilege access is required to plant the script, and a user must interact with the altered interface before credentials within that trusted session are exposed.
