Stored XSS via forged administrator request
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in David Shabtai Post Author 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to store script content through a forged request. Neither the CNA record nor Patchstack identifies the affected handler or input field; the published mechanism is missing or incorrect nonce validation before a state-changing action. Successful exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open attacker-controlled content, after which the stored script executes in browsers that render the affected output.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
