Browser script execution via reflected input
Published Mar 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in chaozh Simple Post Series 2.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in a user's browser via a crafted link. The affected page-generation path emits attacker-controlled input without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, but public sources do not identify the parameter or output sink. Exploitation requires no account but does require a user to open attacker-controlled content; script execution is limited to that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
