CVE-2025-2879

Local sensitive-data exposure through GPU operations

Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025

Information exposure in Arm Valhall and 5th Gen GPU Kernel Drivers allows local users to read sensitive data through improper GPU operations. Arm has not disclosed the specific driver locus or the improper processing operation that crosses a data boundary. A non-privileged local process with access to the Mali GPU device can expose data, with no reported remote path or service interruption.
