CVE-2025-2876Network attack vector

Unauthenticated user deletion via unchecked admin action

Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025

Missing authorization in MelaPress Login Security 2.1.0 and its Premium edition allows remote attackers to delete any WordPress user. The Temporary Logins module's monitor_admin_actions function processes an unauthenticated administrative action without verifying the caller's WordPress capability before deleting the selected account. Network access to the WordPress site is sufficient, and deletion of administrator or other accounts causes account loss and can interrupt site administration.
