CVE-2025-2838

Service hang via DNS response loop

Published Mar 26, 2025 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Infinite loop in DNS response processing in Silicon Labs Gecko OS 1.0.46 allows network-adjacent attackers to interrupt service. A logic error in the DNS response-processing path fails to terminate a loop when it handles an attacker-controlled response. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation hangs the affected device rather than reading or altering data.
