Account takeover via JavaScript-readable session tokens

Insecure session storage in Alteryx Server 2023.1.1.460 allows remote attackers to steal session tokens and take over accounts. The web client stores valid session tokens in browser localStorage, where scripts executing in the application's origin can read them. Exploitation requires user interaction and a separate XSS or similar client-side injection, after which the attacker can impersonate the affected user.
