Root command execution via unfiltered area parameter
Published May 9, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
Command injection in Victure RX1800 EN_V1.0.0_r12_110933 allows remote attackers on its Wi-Fi network to execute commands as root. action_ZeroSetting concatenates the unfiltered area request parameter into a shell command passed to fork_exec. Access to the router's Wi-Fi network is required; omitted credentials also satisfy a flawed password check, enabling root-level code execution.
