Service interruption via unlimited FTP mass uploads
Published Mar 26, 2025 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Resource exhaustion in Bizerba GLx and CWx device firmware before 16.20 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via FTP uploads. The public FTP service accepts unlimited mass uploads without enforcing a storage quota, allowing the device's mass storage to become completely full. Valid FTP credentials and network access are required; exhausting storage compromises device availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
