Sensitive data disclosure via injectable sort parameter
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in Hitout car sale 1.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database information through the orderBy parameter. The /store/getList endpoint accepts an orderBy value that becomes SQL syntax, as demonstrated by an error-based updatexml payload that retrieves the database version. The published request contains no authentication material; successful exploitation exposes data readable by the application's database account.
