Traffic interception via unencrypted cloud broadcasts
Published Apr 23, 2025 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Cleartext transmission in BYD QIN PLUS DM-i Dilink OS 3.0_13.1.7.2204050.1 through 3.0_13.1.7.2312290.1_0 allows attackers to intercept cloud traffic. The operating system sends broadcasts to the manufacturer's cloud server without encryption, exposing the data to interception and modification in transit. Exploitation requires a network position capable of observing and altering the vehicle's cloud traffic; no user interaction or authentication is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
