Reflected XSS via unsanitized q parameter
Published Apr 21, 2025 · Updated Apr 21, 2025
Reflected XSS in feedback.php in code-projects Online Exam Mastering System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script via q. The endpoint reflects the q value into its HTML response without sanitization or output encoding, so supplied script markup executes in the visitor's browser. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted URL; execution is confined to the application's browser origin, enabling session-data theft or actions as the victim.
