Reflected XSS via unsanitized dl.php id parameter
Published May 8, 2025 · Updated Jun 7, 2025
Reflected XSS in phpList before 3.6.15 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted dl.php request. The /lists/dl.php endpoint improperly sanitizes the id query parameter before reflecting it into the response. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link; the script runs in that user's browser context and can read or alter origin-accessible data.
