Database access via unparameterized menu-order IDs
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2025
SQL injection in Owl Admin 3.2.2 through 4.10.2 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify data through the menu-order API. The save-order handler accepts the ids form field as SQL syntax instead of restricting it to menu identifiers or binding it as data. Exploitation requires a logged-in session with high privileges, and the demonstrated error-based payload discloses database query results.
