Script execution via unescaped account parameters
Published Mar 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in tagDiv Composer 5.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted account parameters. The plugin insufficiently sanitizes and escapes account_id and account_username before reflecting their values into generated pages. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to follow a crafted link, exposing that user's browser session to script-driven data access or actions.
