Pre-auth command execution via unsanitized NoticeUrl
Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A950RG 4.1.2cu.5161_B20200903 allows remote attackers to execute commands before authentication. The setNoticeCfg function passes the attacker-controlled NoticeUrl parameter into an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A network-reachable device requires no credentials or user interaction, and successful exploitation provides control at the vulnerable service's privilege level.
