Classic buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A800R firmware 4.1.2cu.5137_B20200730 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through downloadFile.cgi. The public advisory does not identify the request parameter, destination buffer, or copy operation that accepts oversized input in the CGI component. The endpoint is reachable over a network without authentication; successful exploitation can disclose or alter data and interrupt service, but public evidence does not establish arbitrary code execution.
