CVE-2025-27940

Information disclosure via Ring 0 out-of-bounds read

Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026

An out-of-bounds read in Intel TDX Module before tdx1.5 allows local users with hypervisor privileges to disclose protected data. Intel identifies the flaw only within the Ring 0 hypervisor context and has not disclosed the affected function, buffer, or invalid bounds operation. Exploitation requires privileged local access, high complexity, an additional attack condition, and no user interaction; the reported consequence is confidentiality loss without data modification or service interruption.
