CVE-2025-27932Network attack vector

File deletion via USB path traversal

Published Mar 28, 2025 · Updated Mar 28, 2025

Path traversal in KDDI HGW-BL1500HM 002.002.003 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete device files via USB file sharing. The deletion process fails to confine a supplied pathname to the intended USB storage directory, so traversal sequences can target files elsewhere on the device. Exploitation requires low-privileged network access to the file-sharing function, and deletion of a device file can interrupt service.
