CVE-2025-27916Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Identity spoofing via unverified direct IP connections

Published Nov 6, 2025 · Updated Nov 6, 2025

Authentication bypass in AnyDesk for Windows before 9.0.6 and Android before 8.0.0 allows remote attackers to spoof an AnyDesk ID. During direct IP-address connection setup, the initiating client supplies the displayed ID, and no AnyDesk server verifies it against the client's certificate. The spoofed request differs visually from a verified identity only by color, so a recipient can accept a session believing it came from a trusted client; granted access remains bounded by the session's permissions.
