CVE-2025-27907Network attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via undisclosed request handling

Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 1, 2025

SSRF in IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 and 9.0 allows remote authenticated users to send unauthorized requests from the server. IBM identifies the affected code only as APAR PH65941 and states that the problem conclusion is confidential, so the request-handling locus and validation failure are undisclosed. Administrative privileges are required, and exploitation can expose otherwise unreachable network resources for enumeration without reported integrity or availability impact.
