Open redirect in IBM Db2 Recovery Expert for LUW 5.5 Interim Fix 002 allows remote authenticated users to send victims to malicious sites. IBM has not disclosed the affected redirect endpoint or the validation error that permits an attacker-controlled destination to be returned. A user must follow a crafted trusted-looking link; the redirect can support phishing and credential theft but does not itself expose server data.
