Transient immutable-field display manipulation via modified Copy request
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 8, 2025
Parameter tampering in Archer Platform 6 through 6.14.00202.10024 allows remote authenticated users to alter immutable fields transiently. The GenericContent/Record.aspx Copy handler accepts client-modified values for assumed-immutable fields such as the creation date and renders them in Edit mode. Record-creation privileges and request interception are required; entering View mode restores the original value, and no change reaches the database.
