Authentication bypass in Garmin WDU v1 1.4.6 and v2 5.0 allows remote attackers to invoke device APIs over WebSockets. The browser performs the only authentication check, while the device's WebSocket server accepts direct API calls without authenticating the client. Network access to the WDU is required, and exploitation grants administrator access to device-control functions.
