Insecure deserialization in Arctera InfoScale Enterprise for Windows 8.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to compromise servers. The Plugin_Host service accepts potentially untrusted messages at a .NET remoting endpoint and deserializes them without a trust boundary. The endpoint is relevant only when applications use Disaster Recovery configured through the DR wizard, and exploitation requires network access to the service.
