Root command execution via crafted MQTT messages
Published May 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
OS command injection in cPH2 and cPP2 charging-station firmware 2.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute root commands. The /var/salia/mqtt.php script processes a specially crafted message on a particular MQTT topic without neutralizing command syntax before OS execution. The CVSS assessment treats access as requiring high privileges; successful exploitation runs commands with root permissions.
