Authenticated code execution via eval on form fields
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 17, 2026
Code injection in /add_prompts in UpTrain AI UpTrain 0.7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code via crafted form data. The handler calls Python eval() on the untrusted checks list and metadata string, so attacker-supplied expressions run in the dashboard backend instead of being parsed as data. Exploitation requires a valid authentication method for the exposed API, and successful execution reaches the runtime context documented for UpTrain deployments, typically its Docker container.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
