CVE-2025-27726

File disclosure via traversal in USB downloads

Published Mar 28, 2025 · Updated Mar 28, 2025

Path traversal in KDDI HGW-BL1500HM Ver 002.002.003 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to read device files. The USB storage file-download process fails to restrict a requested pathname to its intended directory, letting a crafted HTTP request select files outside that boundary. Exploitation requires low-privileged access from a LAN-connected device and exposes file contents without a reported availability impact.
