Credential disclosure via client-side user-list transmission
Published Apr 23, 2025 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Credential exposure in BEC Technologies Multiple Routers 1.04.1.512 and 1.04.1.542 allows remote attackers to read credentials. The /cgi-bin/tools_usermanage.asp endpoint transmits the user list and associated credentials for client-side handling instead of retaining them server-side. An unauthenticated request from the adjacent network exposes credentials that can enable account compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
