Arbitrary code execution via upload path traversal

Path traversal in KDDI HGW-BL1500HM 002.002.003 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter files through LAN HTTP requests. The USB storage file-upload process accepts crafted path components without confining the destination to its restricted directory. Access requires a device connected to the LAN and low privileges; successful traversal can read or alter gateway files and execute arbitrary code.
