Secret disclosure via world-readable debug archive
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Information disclosure in Vasion Print before Virtual Appliance Host 1.0.735 and Application 20.0.1330 allows local users to read secrets. The BUNDLE_DEBUG task handler runs as root, packages diagnostic data into a ZIP file, and writes the archive world-readable under /opt/PrinterInstallerClient/bin. The unauthenticated local service API accepts a crafted task request, exposing whatever secrets the diagnostic collection includes without granting data modification.
