Account hijacking via unescaped request parameters
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Vasion Print before Virtual Appliance Host 22.0.843 and Application 20.0.1923 allows remote attackers to run scripts. The advanced_search.php q, app_requests.php action, and standalone_autodownload_applet.php name parameters accept script-bearing input that application pages render without neutralization. A victim must follow a crafted URL; script execution in that user's browser can expose session cookies and hijack an administrative account.
