Cross-tenant password disclosure via unscoped device API
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Improper access control in Vasion Print Application before 20.0.2253 allows remote attackers to read passwords belonging to other tenants. The /api-gateway/br/devices endpoint returns device records containing clear-text credentials without enforcing tenant-scoped authorization. A network request without authentication is sufficient; the demonstrated consequence is credential disclosure, while settings changes were not tested.
