Unauthenticated partial-admin creation via exposed admin endpoints
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Missing authentication in Vasion Print allows remote attackers to add partial-admin users through exposed administrative endpoints. The identity search endpoint issues a session cookie and CSRF token without authentication, and the user-add endpoint accepts them to create an account. Network access to the administrative interface is sufficient; affected Host builds before 22.0.913 and Application builds before 20.0.2253 permit account creation and malicious driver uploads.
