Unauthenticated driver metadata modification via exposed endpoint
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Missing authentication in Vasion Print Application before 20.0.2368 allows remote attackers to edit driver package metadata. The /lib/dao/driver_version_update.php endpoint sets $nologin=true and accepts setversion parameters that it writes into the MySQL driver-package record. The network-reachable endpoint requires no account or user interaction, and its demonstrated effect is unauthorized modification of stored package metadata.
