Unauthenticated IdP takeover via exposed admin APIs
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Improper authentication in Vasion Print Application before 20.0.2368 and Virtual Appliance Host before 22.0.951 allows remote attackers to alter SSO. Routes in /var/www/app/routes/web.php expose /admin/idp-deployments without authentication, and setDeploymentDetails persists attacker-controlled IdP users, groups, and node associations. Network access to the administrative web interface is sufficient to manipulate the identity provider and compromise the affected deployment.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
