CVE-2025-27638

Mailgun secret disclosure via bundled environment files

Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Hardcoded credentials in Vasion Print before Virtual Appliance Host 22.0.1002 and Application 20.0.2614 allow attackers to read a Mailgun secret. Docker application containers store the Mailgun domain and secret in plaintext .env files, exposing the credential to attackers who can inspect their filesystems. Administrative filesystem or container access is required, and the published disclosure reports that Mailgun rejected the credential as inactive.
