Browser script execution via unescaped expiry parameter
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Vasion Print before Virtual Appliance Host 22.0.1002 and Application 20.0.2614 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript. The /var/www/app/license_gen.php page inserts the expiry request value into error text and single-quoted HTML attributes without safe output encoding. A victim must open the crafted request; the injected script then runs in the victim's browser and can steal an administrator's cookies.
